Most cookies you buy are biscuit-sized and gone in two bites. A Pookie cookie is around double the width of a Marie, thick in the middle and soft all the way through. One really is a whole treat.
It started in a home kitchen, with a lot of compliments.
Srushti has been baking cookies for more than seven years. Birthdays, festivals, random Tuesdays. Wherever her cookies went, the same thing happened: people asked for more, and then asked when she'd start selling them.
For years it stayed a family thing. Then her family, friends and neighbours kept pushing, and in 2026 she finally took the first step. Pookie Cookie is that step.
The rules haven't changed since the home kitchen days. Good ingredients, no shortcuts, small batches, and every cookie baked like it's going to someone she knows.
Our first batch went to the neighbours. The only complaint? There wasn't enough.
Before launching, we baked a test batch and handed it around the building. It came back with one review: too yummy, please make more. So we did.
